K9 Smart Rings Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how you can request deletion of your K9 Smart Rings app account and the app data associated with that account.

 

Delete your account in the app

 If you can access the K9 Smart Rings app:

1. Open the K9 Smart Rings app.

2. Sign in with the account you want to delete.

3. Go to Settings.

4. Choose Delete account.

5. Confirm the deletion request.

 

After confirmation, your account access is revoked and deletion of associated app data is started.

 

Request deletion without the app

 If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email.

Use the subject line:

 K9 Smart Rings account deletion request

 

Please include:

– the email address used for your K9 Smart Rings account;

– your name or display name, if available;

– a short statement that you want your K9 Smart Rings app account and associated app data deleted.

 

Do not send your password. We may ask for additional information to verify that you are authorized to request deletion of the account.

 

Data deleted

When an account deletion request is completed, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with the K9 Smart Rings app account, including where applicable:

– account profile data such as email address, display name, role and app account identifiers;

– dog records connected to the account or workspace;

– saved training sessions, session notes, target data, event logs and training history;

– Bluetooth device identifiers and device names saved with training sessions;

– data sharing preferences and related app settings.

 

Data we may retain

Some data may be retained for a limited period where necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup integrity or compliance reasons. Backup copies are removed according to normal backup lifecycle procedures. Data that has been anonymized and can no longer identify a user may be retained.

 

Timing 

We aim to process verified account deletion requests within 30 days. If a request is complex or we need additional verification, we will contact you using the email address provided.
